Tarkus Artaveion Gates wa born August 1, 1976 in East St, Louis, Illinois. he departed this life September 18, 2017. He is survived by his mother, Towneer Gates; brother, Ashton Gates; Aunties: Dale Gates, Peggy Gates and so many other aunts and uncles; Cousins: Demita Gates, Ro'mon Gates, Byron Gates, Whitney Gates and a host of other cousins; his best friend, Dan Cook and many other family and friends. Tarkus was a good person, he lost his way in this world, but he has found his way to heaven. he will be surely missed. He takes with him all the love of his mother, brother and all the rest of his family and friends.
