Marie H. Cook, age 83, passed away on March 9, 2016 at her residence. Member Briggs Road Baptist Church. Preceded in death by:Husband: Ronald Cook. Son: Steven Cook. Grandson: Jimmy Dempsey. Survived by: Daughters: Linda (Terry) Dempsey and Brenda (Larry) Cormack. Grandchildren: Stacy Dempsey, Duncan Cormack and Steven Cook. Numerous great grandchildren. Sister: Joanne Higgins. Memorial service will be held at Briggs Road Baptist Church, 3231 Briggs Rd., Saturday at 2:00 PM. Arrangements completed at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 W. Broad St.
