Harrison Kirk

Harrison D. Kirk, age 86, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. A big OSU fan, he was also an avid gardener. Preceded in death by: Parents: Harrison and Revile Kirk. Sisters: Ruby, Audra (Ed), Mary and Bonnie (Doug). Survived by: His daughters, and whom he liked to call, his loving, gorgeous golden girls, Carolyn (Arthur) Hawkins, Sharon (Tom) Henry and Naomi (Dennis) Abdon. Grandchildren: Dena (Christian) Jordan, Eric Neal, Aaron (Wendy) Neal, Jason (Jessica) Abdon, Alex (Liz Kimley) Henry and Allison (Daniel) Shellhause. 14 great grandchildren. Sister: Rose (Jerry) Bales. Step son: James Maple.Numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends from Stratford Place. Special thanks to all of the staff at Mt. Carmel West for their care. There will be a gathering of friends at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 W. Broad St., Monday, 12-1 PM where memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday. Inurnment Sunset Cemetery at a later date.
