Ruby Olsen

Ruby K. Olsen, age 92, born and raised in West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2010 @ Mt. Carmel West. Ruby was a retired OBGYN nurse, working at the Glover Clinic in West Virginia. She later volunteered at the Vienna Hospital and as a teachers aid, working with children, both of which brought her much happiness. Preceded in death by: Husband: Harry Olsen. Parents: Walter and Bertie Jeffrey. Brothers: Reginald and Billy. Sisters: Rosetta and Ruth. Survived by: Daughter and son in law: Kathy and Larry Simkin. Sisters: Sue (Ken) Knox, Martha Heilman and Esther Bias. Brother: Virgil (Dolly) Jeffrey. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home, 2693 W. Broad St., Tuesday, 5-6 PM where service will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday. Graveside service and interment, 1:00 PM, Wednesday, Boone Memorial Park, Madison, W.V.
