Elvis Dilseo Rivas

Elvis Dilseo Rivas was the victim of a hit and run accident on September 18, 2016. At only 19 years old, he lived a short but memorable life as a free spirit and unforgettable family member and friend to many.
Born September 29, 1996 to Salome Rivas & Hilaria Nino Rivas. Over the course of his life he came to win the love and trust of all his friends and family. Elvis was a hard to understand person, once he started to open up he showed his carefree, loving and upbeat personality and with his awkward laugh he was able to brighten a room and bring smiles to any sour face.
He loved to spend his life free. He enjoyed camping and exploring nature. He loved to get to know and meet new people. He attended Briggs High School for all 4 years of high school life.
He is survived by: parents Hilaria and Salome Rivas; sister Lila Rivas; brothers Hector Rivas and Hernesto Omar Rivas.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 23 from 4-(wake) at Lirio De Los Valles (1738 Brown Road, Columbus 43223) and burial will be Saturday, September 24 at 10am at Alton Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Jerry Spears Funeral Home, 2693 West Broad St.
