Dolores Lattimer

Dolores Iola Lattimer, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at her residence. She was born on October 22, 1919 and was raised on West Park Avenue during the depression. Member Columbus West Church of God and was a former member of the Chicago Avenue Christian Church for many years. A graduate of Bliss College, she taught speech class to special education children and taught Sunday school at Chicago Avenue Church of Christ. Preceded in death by: Husband: Thomas Lattimer, whom she married on December 22, 1944. Son: Donald Lattimer. Infant son: Jimmy Lattimer. Grandchildren: Tim and Beth McKinney. Survived by: Children: Sharon (Bruce) McKinney and William (Bev) Lattimer. 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home, 2693 W. Broad St., Sunday, 2-5 PM, then after 10:00 AM Monday at Columbus West Church of God, 147 Gladys Rd., where service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday. Pastor Rob Watts officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
