Thomas P. Giusti, age 81, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Doctor's Hospital West. Tom was born in Logan, West Virginia and attended Logan Central High, where he served as class president each year. A proud US Army veteran and member of The Church Next Door, Tom graduated with an accounting degree from Marshall University and earned an MBA from Xavier University. He was a longtime CPA and partner at Longanbach, Giusti, Kuck and Hornberger LLC. Over the years, he held numerous leadership roles, including: past board member with St. Vincent Children's Center; Founder, past president, present vice president of Prader Willi Syndrome Association of Ohio; Past member Children's Hospital Development Board; Founding Member Columbus Italian Club; Past member Ohio Conservancy Board; Reading tutor at Cassidy Elementary School; Ohio Oil and Gas Association former board member, board treasurer, and Hall of Fame Recipient ; 2013-2014 recipient of Who's Who in Energy; Creative Housing, Creative Renovations Board Member. Tom was a dedicated American Red Cross blood donor, having donated over 31 gallons! Everyone always had kind words to say about Tom and although he had many accolades, his most cherished role was being the best husband, dad, father-in-law, and grandpa ever!
Preceded in death by, parents, Attilio and Isabella Giusti, brother-in-law, Joe Campoy. Survived by, loving wife of 55 years, Sandy, children, Angela Giusti, Teressa (Matt) White, Tina (Frank) Ribeiro and Thomas Giusti, grandchildren, Raines, Carina, and Grace White, brothers and sister, Vincent (Judy) Giusti, Frances Campoy, John (Sherry) Giusti and Mike (Linda) Giusti, brother-in-law, John Santeler, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd., Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 5-7 PM. Private family graveside service and interment Friday, November 17, 2023 at Sunset Cemetery. Additional gathering of friends will again be held at the Hilliard funeral chapel Friday evening, November 17, 2023 from 4-6 PM with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 6 PM.
