Rosella Robins, age 99, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who always put others ahead of herself, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. She was a longtime, extremely devoted and active member of St Agnes Catholic Church. A retired waitress who unexpectedly lost her husband Nathan in 1961, she worked hard to raise a family of four on her own, sending her kids to private schools and always seeing to it that they had everything they needed, doing all of this without a drivers license. It cant be stated enough how selfless and caring of a mother she always was to her children. Preceded in death by, parents, John and Grace McCort, husband, Nathan, granddaughter, Mary Christine Chamberlin, brothers and sisters, Jim McCort, Bernard McCort, Albert McCort, Catherine McGee and Wanda Snyder, son in law, Ronny Byerly. Survived by, children, Nancy Byerly, James (Brenda) Robins, Michael (Candy) Robins and Maurice (Cindy) Robins, grandchildren, Ronny (Tracy) Byerly, Jason (Jill) Robins, Matthew Robins, Melissa Robins, Stacey (James) Wood and Nate Robins, sister, Lula McGee, grandson in law, Jay Chamberlin, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other family and friends. Friends may call at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, 2164 W. Mound St., Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 10-11 AM where Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Father Homer Blubaugh, Celebrant. Entombment St Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements have been completed at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to either Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, 5199 E. Broad St, Columbus, OH, 43213 or Ohio Health Hospice at www.ohiohealth.com and click make a gift. In accordance with Covid-19 protocols, the family is requesting that all attendees at both the visitation and service wear masks.
