Ronald McDaniel

Ronald D. McDaniel, age 73, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, went peacefully to be with Jesus on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on December 23, 1944 in Columbus, OH.   He is preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Thelma McDaniel; brothers, Larry and Mike.  He is survived by wife, Jacqueline, of 47 years; daughter, Kimberly (Brad) Miller; son, Kristopher (Tracy); grandchildren, Bailey, Keegan, Colton, and Pearse; brothers, Ralph(Carolyn), Ray (Nancy), Richard (Lynne); sisters, Ruth Ann (Dan) Bentley, Margie (Mike) King, Jeri (Bob) White; sister in law, Debbie; special friends, Ronnie Skeen and Gary Thomas; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; fur babies, Brinkley and Buddy. 
Ron graduated from West High School in 1963 and then enlisted in the U.S. Army and served one tour of duty in Vietnam as a Military Police Officer.  He retired from Skeen Insurance Agency. 
Calling hours will be at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St.,  on Thursday, Sept 13 from 5-8pm.  Visitation will be Friday, Sept 14 at Memorial Baptist Church, 2435 Eakin Road, at 10am, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11am.
