Jerald McClaskey

Jerald Lee "Jerry" McClaskey, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at his residence. Retired from Gutknecht Construction. Graduate of Columbus West High School. Member YMCA. He loved working on his house as he recently remodeled it and he was an avid gardener. Long ago, he was a keyboardist in a a band. Jerry will be greatly missed.  Preceded in death by, parents, Franklin and Clara "Betty" McClaskey, sister in law, Crissy McClaskey. Survived by, sister, Connie (Guido) Carroll, brother, Ron McClaskey, nieces, Lindsey (Ted Taylor) McClaskey and Katie Renteria, great nephews, Michael and Brantley, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 11-1 PM where service will follow at 1 PM. Interment Alton Cemetery.
