Gelilah Byrd

Gelilah Byrd, age 57, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at The James Cancer Hospital. She was employed with Big Lots for over 35 years. Gelilah was always a very happy and caring person. She was a better person than most people even thought they could be. She loved her family but could also keep everyone in line and together with her kindness and love. She would give anything to anyone and will be missed more than she would ever know. Preceded in death by, father, Glen Blackburn, brother, Ronald Blackburn, sister, Glenna Rose Blackburn. Survived by, husband, Paul, mother, Rose Mary Blackburn, brothers, Dean Blackburn and Douglas Blackburn, sisters, Udella Cook, Emma Lou (Kevin) Sluss and Karen (Brent) Horn, nephews, Brady, Jared, Andrew and Josh, nieces, Katie and Ashley, numerous other family and friends.
