Ethan Blecke

Ethan William Blecke, age 16, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 with his loving parents holding his hands at bedside. Ethan was born on December 21, 2007 to Timothy and Erica Blecke in Scottsdale, Arizona. As the first born in the family he was adored beyond measure by all.  Ethan had a playful curiosity about life and noticed the little things of beauty. He loved superheroes, collecting fossils, and riding his bike. Ethan had a very sweet soul and a very mature reasoning right from the start. He was a good student on an accelerated path and always impressed us with his mature point of view. More recently, Ethan attended Dublin Jerome High School, loved fishing and playing basketball every chance he could, riding his bike to meet with friends, and hanging out at BW3’s experimenting with their Blazin’ Sauce.  He was the best big brother and son.  He will be missed beyond measure.  We have gained a true angel in heaven.  Preceded in death by, maternal grandfathers, William Hook and John Hendricks,  paternal grandfather, William Blecke. Survived by, parents, Timothy and Erica Blecke, brother, Andrew Blecke, maternal grandmother, Mary Jane (Charlie) Cek, paternal grandmother, Carole Blecke, aunts, Victoria (John) Ellington and Angela (Josh) Beresford, uncle, Matthew Blecke, cousins, Cole and Lewis Ellington, maternal great grandmothers, Renee Hook and Doris Rountree, numerous other family and many many friends. Friends may visit with the family for calling hours at Northwest Presbyterian Church, 6400 Post Rd, Dublin, OH, 43016, Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 3-6 PM where funeral service will follow at 6 PM. Pastor David Schutter officiating.  Following the services guests are invited to join in a reception at the church.  Arrangements are being handled with JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd.
