Debra Jeanette Novet

Debbie Novet passed from this mortal coil at the age of 69 in Columbus, OH.

Debbie was a beautiful, fun-loving and independent soul.  She enjoyed her career in the gaming industry and tackling home renovations.  She loved sewing and revisiting her decades-in-the-making sci-fi movie collection.  She could often be found on your couch engrossed in a book.  Most tellingly, at the age of 52, her years of persistence were rewarded with a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Arizona.

She was a loving relative and friend to many.  Her vibrant social life was filled with frequent visits to near and distant family and friends, digging for fossils in vast American deserts, and sailing the high seas with Roger Daltrey on rock-music cruises.

Debbie was preceded in death by her youngest son, Nathaniel Novet, and her father, Thomas Johnson.  She is survived by her oldest son, Justin (Liz) Rich; her two grandchildren, Nigel and Byrne; her mother, Louise Johnson; and her siblings Mark (Debbie) Johnson, Kevin Johnson, and Judy Johnson.
