Carol Joy Jenkins

Carol Joy Jenkins 64  born September 17, 1960 passed away unexpectedly Sunday November 10, 2024. A debilitating stroke in 2020 tested her resilience, despite a valiant effort to recover she slipped away.  Carol was a 1979 graduate of Hilliard High School and a retired Unit Secretary from OSU Hospital. Passionate about the medical field, reading, organizing, music, concerts, festivals and fun! She loved cheering on the Buckeyes and the family time it brought. She was the life of the party and never met a stranger. She was a loving Daughter, Sister, Friend, struggling single parent and fierce Momma bear. Preceded by Parents Douglas Jenkins Sr. and Shirley Boysel - Dildine, Siblings Billy Jr., Tonya Dildine and Stephanie Jenkins. She leaves behind to mourn a devoted Daughter Melanie (Paul), Grandchildren Landen and Summer Dickens. Siblings: Doug Jenkins Jr., DeeDee Wildman, Trina Ferguson and Tina Dildine. Carol always had a special place in her heart for Shauna.  Extended family, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Arrangements are pending with JERRY SPEARS FUNERLA HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd..
