Antonia Cruz

Antonia Lynette Cruz, age 36, lost her battle with addiction on June 2, 2024. She was born to Donna and George "Tony" Cruz on June 2nd, 1988. As a young mother at the age of 16, Antonia received her GED and graduated from AST with a degree in medical assisting and phlebotomy. Her true passion was pediatrics and holistic health. Antonia (known to the kids as Aunt Sissy or Aunt Tonia) was very well known for being the fun house for all the kids. She was ALL about making her kids and everyone else’s kids happy. She loved animals; especially the pit bull breed and her longtime companion "Annie", the outdoors, dirt bikes, crafts, family time, and cooking. She went above and beyond for anyone and everyone no matter their situation and had friends from all walks of life. She was truly the most loving, genuine person there ever was. Antonia is survived by her 3 children: Shyannah, Aydian, and Gunner, her mother and father Donna and George "Tony" Cruz, her sisters Seerina (Taylor), Heaven-Lea (Chris), Raven, and Heather (Brian). Her nieces and nephews; Isabella, Gabriella, Legacy, Aundrea, Nevaeh’Lea, Rosie, Lucey, and Danny. Aunts Sharon (Ray) & Karen. And numerous other family members. A memorial of life celebration will be held on Monday June 10th, 2024, from 5-7 pm at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 West Broad St. We ask everyone who can attend her viewing to please join us in celebrating Antonia and laying her to rest.
