Dear Laura, Jimmy, Caitlyn and the rest of the Slagle Family,
The last time I saw Gage was at Carol's Christmas Get-Together this past December and I remember how handsome and funny Gage was that day. I recall he was trying to sneak his Great Aunt Carol's cat Charlie out of the house to take home with him but, he got caught. Gage was delightful to be around and had such a wonderful smile.
I can't even imagine the heart ache all of you must be going through these past few days. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you now and in the future.
Carol told me that Gage always fought rules and authority, so now he is free and at peace to soar the highest mountains and fly on eagles wings.
I'm sure from atop the highest mountain peak Gage will always be looking after his loving family until one day all of you can fly on eagles wings together.
May God bless and keep all of you close to his heart in these painful days and months ahead.
