William Jacob Seach, age 78, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, February 22, 2020 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 7, 1941 to George Jr. and Anna Shumar Seach in Republic, Pa. The family moved to Yorkville, Ohio where he spent his elementary and high school days. His excellence in scholastic achievement and athleticism earned him a scholarship to Indiana University. While at Indiana, he played football and earned his degree in teaching. He continued with his passion for football by playing for the Wheeling Ironmen, a semi-professional team.
He met the love of his life, Mitzi Chichick while in college and they married on May 10, 1964. They began their family and were blessed with 3 beautiful children.
Bill was a dedicated teacher and outstanding coach for 35 years. His career was at Indian Creek school district where he touched and impacted the lives of many students and athletes. He will always be remembered for his strength, compassion and leadership.
He was a wonderfully devoted husband and father. He loved spending time with wife, children and their grandchildren.
His legacy will live on forever and his remembrance will remain in every single one of us until the end of time.
Bill was preceded in death by his father George Jr., his mother Anna Marie and his brother George Earl. He is survived by his wife, Mitzi and their children, Jodi Doty, Kristen Taute and Bill Seach, their five grandchildren Hunter Taute, Brandon Doty , Peyton Doty, Brooke Taute and Billy Seach as well as his four sisters, Mary Ellen Banal, Darlene Dempsey, Cathy Seach, and Marlene Auth.
