Virginia Roberts Obituary

Virginia Ruth Roberts, age 79, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at her residence. She loved to cook, be outdoors and spend time talking with her neighbors, who she would do anything to help. Virginia read her Bible every day. She will be missed. Preceded in death by, husband, JP Roberts, son, JP Roberts II, parents, Major and Nola McCoy, 8 brothers and sisters. Survived by, daughter, Stella (Ray) Derenberger, granddaughter, Virginia Tichenor, brothers and sisters, James McCoy, Charles McCoy and John (Regina) McCoy, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 5-7 PM where service will follow at 7 PM. Graveside service and interment, 12 Noon, Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Green Lawn Cemetery.
