Valerie Ann "Momma Val" Leslie, age 48, passed away on October 31, 2021 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. She attended both St John Lutheran Church and New Horizons United Methodist Church. Momma Val loved her family and playing the guitar, music was her passion. Preceded in death by, parents, Ronald and Pamela VanFossen, grandmother, JoanAnn "Mom-Mom" Leslie, her daughters father, Jeff Leonard. Survived by, children, Makayla Leslie and John "Bub" Leslie Jr, brothers and sisters, John Leslie, Tim (Michael) Loew, Kimberly Loew and Ronald VanFossen Jr, grandfather, Macie Smith, mother in law, Jean (Jace) Krack, numerous other adopted kids, family and friends.
