Obituary

Terry L. Blizzard, age 73, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at his residence. Terry was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1967. He was a proud Central High Pirate. Terry retired from Emery Worldwide after 33 years of service. Terry loved his family and was always there to protect them. He strived to be sure his family members were financially independent … just ask them about their budget cards. Terry was known for his sense of humor. He never let anyone have a bad day. Terry enjoyed all things to do with gambling and even the occasional trip to Las Vegas. Terry always enjoyed a ‘friendly’ game of Euchre or Acey Deucey. His grandson can tell you all about it. Terry was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He also enjoyed watching Nascar races. Preceded in death by, parents, Clarence and Grace Blizzard, daughter, Kimberlee Mitchell. Survived by, wife of 44 years, Mary, daughter, Jamie (Ed) Kennedy, grandchildren, Katie Blizzard and Kyle Kennedy, sisters in law, Sheila Hitchcock and Elizabeth (Michael) Conley, uncle Terry (Carolyn) Blizzard Jr., beloved cat, Maxwell, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends including his favorite long term nurse and true friend Luciana. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd., Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 4-7 PM where service will be held 10:30 AM Friday, May 20, 2022. Interment Alton Cemetery.
