Steven Brown Obituary

Steven Ray Brown, 78, died July 18, 2020. Steve was born September 13, 1941 in Marion, Ohio. At an early age Steve and his family moved to Worthington, Ohio where he graduated from Worthington High School with the class of 1959. Steve attended business classes at Ohio State University and was a big Buckeye fan. Trained as a mechanic, Steve was known for many years as "The Serviceman". Steve was very talented and a hard worker, installing and servicing HVAC systems in the Columbus area. He enjoyed working on many vehicles, especially automobiles, racing them and participating in Cruisins. Steve loved to fly and encouraged other to fly through the Young Eagles at the OSU airport. He was a member of the EAA, the Columbus Power Squadron, Worthington Train Museum, the NRA and helped with the Children's Home.

Steve believed in standing up for what is right. He was proud to support America, its principles and the U.S. Constitution. Steve served in the US Army as a mechanic and supported the US Veterans, DAV, Sharon Township Police and Fire Department.

Family and friends were very important to Steve. Many preceded him in death including his parents, Rupert George and Martha Jane Brown and his brother, Daniel Lynn Brown. Steve's faith in Jesus assures us that he is home now with Jesus and his loved ones.
