Sierra Welch Obituary

Sierra Nicole Welch was born on May 23, 1999 in Westerville, Ohio. She lived a vibrant and memorable life, and she will be in our hearts forever. On March 8th, 2026, Sierra tragically passed away suddenly at the age of 26 in a motorcycle accident. She was deeply loved by her family, friends, and loving boyfriend, and her absence will be felt for a lifetime.

Sierra made an intense impression on everyone she met. She was principled, funny, artistic, and absolutely beautiful. She was a deeply unique person, the type of one-of-a-kind person who you will never be able to find again. Sierra will always be remembered fondly for her goofy laugh and infectious sense of humor. She could make someone laugh in even the darkest situations.

Sierra adored animals and deeply loved her late ferret Gus, as well as her cat Spider. She was a dedicated owner to her pets and would do anything for them.

Sierra loved her motorcycle and riding, and the biking community undoubtedly made a pivotal impact in her life. She was also a very talented artist, and even designed a lot of her own tattoos. Sierra was also a great chef, and made amazing salmon bowls to share with her loved ones. She also was very fond of her precious sourdough starter, named Evelyn.

Sierra had a love for the oddities and strange things in life, including the macabre. She could often be found browsing antique stores for her next vintage find. She loved vintage aesthetics and the color baby pink. Sierra loved to read and was very protective over her books. She had a passion for gaming and made many important connections through her online gaming community. She loved both her people and her hobbies fiercely and intensely.

Sierra will be remembered as dedicated and forever loyal to those that she loved, and was the type of person someone could call at 3am for help, and know that she would always be there. Everyone who knew Sierra could sense what a special soul she was.

Sierra’s passing has left a massive hole in the lives of everyone who knew her — a hole which can never be filled. Her life may have been cut too short, but she had a radiant personality that could fill an entire lifetime.

Sierra is preceded in death by Grandma & Grandpa Rider, Grandma & Grandpa Van Meter, Grandpa McKeegan, and Grandmother Betty Ann Walker; Uncles, Charlie Walker, Charlie VanMeter, and Matthew Rider, as well as her faithful loving companion Gus Welch.

She is survived by Parents Dawn & Chris Welch, and Travis Eisenman. Brothers & Sisters, Anthony, Travis, Taylor, Trinity, and Christopher, her grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins, along with numerous loving close friends, her beloved cat Spider, and her motorcycle community.
