Roy D Elliott

Roy Dell Elliott, age 85, passed away July 29, 2026 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was a West High School alumni and spent many years working for the Ohio Department of Transportation. He enjoyed simple quiet hobbies like growing violets, reading his national geographic magazines and spending time with his parents, he also loved numbers and was interested in computers.

Roy was very simple, quiet and soft-spoken, but had a wicked dry sense of humor. He valued his personal space and simple pastimes.

Preceded in death by parents, Horace Dell & Lenora Faye; and brother, Terry Lee. Survived by niece, Justin (Elliott) Palmqvist & her spouse Andrew Palmqvist; nephew, Eric Elliott, his wife Judy Mitchell & their son Benjamin; cousin, Dorance Hornsby & her husband Jack Hornsby.

Graveside service 1pm, Friday, August 7 at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 West Broad St., Galloway, Ohio 43119.
