Rose Hamilton

Rose Marie Hamilton, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Cedarville Commons, Washington Courthouse, OH. She retired from the State of Ohio Department of Transportation before becoming a prison chaplain as well as a chaplain with Mount Carmel Hospital. Member Saint Cecilia Catholic Church. Preceded in death by, husband, Sheldon, parents, Fredrick and Catherine Jenkins, grandson, Pete Hamilton, brothers, Fred, Jerry, Mike, sisters, Ruth Ann and Katie. Survived by, children, Jim (Carrie) Hamilton, Theresa (Russ) Busic, David (Mary) Hamilton and Steve Hamilton, grandchildren, Alex, Trisha, Pete, Chris, Andrea, Mitch, Maria, Zachary, Emily, Spencer, Katlin and Shane, numerous great grandchildren, other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 1-4 PM. Funeral Mass, 10 AM Monday, August 3, 2026 at Saint Cecilia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Rd. father Thomas Buffer, Celebrant. Interment Alton Cemetery.
