Rosario "Rudy" DeFide Jr

Rosario A. "Rudy" DeFide Jr., age 89, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at his residence in Hilliard, OH. He served proudly in The United States Air Force Strategic Air Command (SAC).  An honorably discharged Veteran of the 8th Air Force, he served during The Korean War from January 22, 1953 - January 21,1957 as an air craft jet bomber mechanic. Retired from Anheuser Busch. Rudy was an avid fan of The Cleveland Indians and The Cleveland Browns.  Preceded in death, parents, Rosario Sr. and Mary DeFide, brother, Thomas DeFide, daughter in law, Anna DeFide. Survived by, children, Rosario DeFide III, Steven (Terri) DeFide and Christine DeFide, grandchildren, Melissa (Don Wharton) DeFide, Brandi (Greg) Heinbush, Sarah DeFide, Valerie DeFide and Amanda DeFide, great grandchildren, Addison and Madalyn, sister in law, Carole DeFide, beloved dog, Joe, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd., Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 4-7 PM where service will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11:30 AM. Father Sean Dooley officiating. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery.
