Rory Ruder

Rory Owen Ruder, age 70, passed away, unexpectedly, on Sunday, May 18, 2025 in Washington, PA. Born November 27, 1954 in Johnstown, PA., Rory spent the majority of his adult life in Uniontown, PA where he retired as both a minister and a clothing salesman for Daniel's Men's Store. He was avid fan of all sports Pittsburgh. His favorite hobby was spending time with his grandchildren and he loved jazz and playing cards. Preceded in death by, wife, Lynn Ruder, parents, Edward and Evelyn Ruder. Survived by, son, Zack (Megan) Ruder, grandchildren, Abigail and Titus Ruder, sisters, Randy Ruder and Robyn Ruder, brother, Rick (Polly) Ruder, beloved dog, Isaac, numerous other family and friends. There will be a gathering of friends at Village Church Columbus, 3750 Sullivant Avenue, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 10-11 AM where service will follow at 11 AM. Pastor Zack Ruder officiating. Arrangements have been completed with JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd.
