Ronald D. Newman, age 83, passed away July 22, 2021 at his residence. Ronald had a love for art and degrees in print making and painting. He obtained his education at CCAD, OSU and in Mexico where her earned both of his master degrees. He taught art and owned art supply stores for 30 years. Preceded in death by parents, Soloman and Mary Newman; in-laws, Nellie and Donald Stauch; sisters/brother-in-law: Florence and JJ Cohen and Elaine Albers/Viniski. Survived by wife of 40 years, Melinda Newman; brothers/sisters-in-law: Martin and Donna Newman; niece/nephews Mark, Kelly and Marlo; Bernard and Barbara Newman; nephew, Michael; nieces/nephews: Larry, Steve, Marlo, Glenn and Bradford Cohen; Brian, Sheila and Marlon Albers; sister-in-law/brother-in-law, Kristina Ann and Russell Spears, nephews Zachary and Andrew Spears; nieces, Rhonda Warren and Valerie Morlan.
Family will receive guests beginning at 10:30am on Saturday, July 31 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2745 W. Broad St, where service will be held at 11am, Pastor William Saunders officiating. Arrangements completed with JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St.
