Rollin "Jim" Baugess, age 83, went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2021. After retiring from General Motors, Jim always found a way to stay busy. He was a man with many passions, including: woodworking, playing guitar, gardening and target shooting. He was always happy to show off the many items he crafted by hand, from his woodworking pieces to his handmade guitars, knives and guns. Jim loved his family and always enjoyed having his kids and grandkids around. Most of all, Jim loved his Lord and now gets to spend eternity in Heaven, free of pain. He will be forever missed. Preceded in death by parents, Fritz and Leota Baugess; brother, William Baugess. Survived by wife of 62 years, Shirley Baugess; children: Christina, Phyllis, Dale (Jennifer); grandchildren: Valerie (Billy) Monst, Matt (Allie) Monst, Zachary (Amy), Kyle (Abbey) and Jill Baugess; great grandchildren: Aurora, Athena, Calie, Blake, Blaze, Devin, William, Maxx, Aubrie and Audree; brothers: Edward (Ellen) Baugess, Larry (Brenda) Baugess; sisters: Shirley (Dave) Luther, and Bonnie Baugess Bethel. Numerous other family and friends. A life well-lived deserves to be celebrated, not mourned, therefore, there will be no funeral services at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life to honor Jim in the future. Arrangements completed at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory.
