Robert Smith

Robert L. Smith, 74 of Zanesville, passed away on October 27th at 1:26am. Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Vicki L. Smith; brother, Richard L. Smith; grandson, Kyle Casebolt and granddaughter, Julia Smith. Robert was born to the late Alford Bond and Viola R. Bond. Robert has one son and five daughters: Tammy Smith, Becky (Terry) Wyatt, Roberta (Matt) Preston, Robert L. Smith Jr. (Jamie Moore), Vicki Smith and Heather Smith. Robert has 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brothers: Eddie Smith and Mike Smith. Robert was a very kind man who would give his shirt off his back to someone who needed it.  He is going to be remembered by putting a smile on everyone's face with all of the jokes he told. He always made sure to have time for his children and grandchildren. He had a heart of gold. He never met a stranger. He always loved to tell jokes and loved his skulls so much that he was known as "Skullman" God knew he wanted another angel and he gained another on October 27th. He always said we were his angels and now he is ours. Friends may call Monday, November 2 from 4-7pm at Jerry Spears Funeral Home, 2693 West Broad St. Columbus.
