Norman Tracy

Norman L. "Norm" Tracy, age 83, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at his residence in Hilliard, OH.  Member Cypress Wesleyan Church on Alton Darby Creek Rd. An avid golfer, Norm was a long time and proud member of Hickory Hills Golf Club. He was the owner of Trapper Johns Canoe Livery, National Road Golf Course, Norm's driving range as well as many other business interests throughout the years. Norm spent time as a Columbus Firefighter, was a former Golden Gloves boxer, a motivational speaker and an accomplished dancer. Graduate of Columbus West High School, attended The Ohio State University and also spent many years as a supporter of Bishop Ready High School Athletics. Veteran United States Army. Preceded in death by, parents, Charles and Eunice Tracy, brothers, Jerry Tracy and Robert Tracy, grandson, Luke Walden, son in law, Chris O'Bryan. Survived by, wife of 58 years, Peggy, daughters, Vicki Walden, Cindi (Brent) Wohrle and Jennifer (Mike Norviel) Tracy, grandchildren, Brooke (Chuck) Fought, Blake O'Bryan, Alexis (Drew Spezialetti) Walden, Devin (Lauren) Wohrle, Darian (Brady Whittekind) Wohrle and Caden Chaney, 7 great grandchildren, sisters, Nancy (Cecil) Cook, Charlene Case and Patsy Forbes, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd., Thursday, August 25,  2022 from 4-7 PM where service will follow at 7 PM. Pastor Dale George officiating. Private family graveside service, Friday at Alton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH, 43215, in Norm's name.
