Michael Weaver

Michael Edward Weaver born July 24, 1960, passed away on March 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

A proud 1978 graduate of Westland High School, Michael spent his recent years truly enjoying his retirement. Whether spending time with family or pursuing his own interests, he made the most of every day.

Preceded in death by father, James Weaver Sr and brother, Richard Weaver.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie; his three children, Sara, (Travis) Michael Jr., and Bradley; and his mother, Rosemary. He was a devoted grandfather to Savannah, Cameron, Lilly, Lucy, and Travis Jr., all of whom brought him immense joy. He also leaves behind his brothers, James (Dawn) and Robert (Cindy), numerous other family, including those in Kentucky at Weaver Holler, as well as many friends. 

Michael was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. His kindness and spirit will live on through the family he adored.

Friends may gather at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Friday, March 20, 2026 from 5-7 PM where memorial service will follow at 7 PM. Pastor Douglas McCoy officiating.
