Mark F. Bruce, age 74, passed on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Doctor's Hospital West. Mark was a United States Army veteran, his honor and service will be remembered. As a retired mechanic, he revved engines and lived life to the fullest with an unrelenting passion for racing, especially NASCAR. Mark had a knack for rebuilding cars like his prized 1957 Chevy Bel Air. He undoubtedly left an indelible mark on those who knew him and for that his memory will forever be cherished. Preceded in death by loving parents, Rutledge and Mary Thompson, beloved daughter, Yvonne Collins, and devoted brother, Benny Thompson. Now rejoined with them in heaven are his loved ones, and memories of him will spark joy in the hearts of the survived, wife, Julie Bruce, children, Shane (Natasha) Bruce and Matt Haley, 7 grandchildren, Austin (Valery) Bruce and his siblings, Alyssa and Gage Collins, 2 great grandchildren Kylee and Zayden Bruce, and the countless family and friends whose lives he touched.
Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 1-3 PM where service will follow at 3 PM.
