Judy Mackie

Judy Mackie, age 82, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Doctor's Hospital West. Preceded in death by, parents, Raymond and Charlene Shelhart, son, John Andrew "Andy" Mackie, husband, John W. Mackie, sisters, Betty Bomersbach and Terry LeVett, brother, Raymond Shelhart. Survived by, daughters, Donnita Mackie and Kellie (Matt) Vincent, grandchildren, Zakary (Syndi) Smith, Johnathan Mackie and Alix (Aaron) Burge, great-grandson, Theo Smith, numerous nephews, nieces and friends. 

Judy enjoyed spending time with friends, especially with her card club ladies, and at the Prairie Township and Hilliard Senior Centers. She was a lifetime crafter and was known for her crocheted animals and blankets. She loved to read mystery books. A graduate of Central High School, she went on to become a surgical technician, stay-at-home wife and mother, and pharmacy technician. 

Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 1-4 PM where service will follow at 4 PM. Private interment at Sunset Cemetery.
