Judith O'Connell

Judith C. O’Connell, 84, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.  She was born February 14, 1941, in Cambridge, Mass., a daughter of the late George and Judith (White) Parks.  Judy was a graduate of Emanuel College, Boston, Mass.  Prior to retirement she had been an educator at Dedham High School and St. Joseph Seminary.  She later worked in real estate.  Judy was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John M. O’Connell, Jr.; and her son, Michael P. O’Connell.  She is survived by her son, John R. O’Connell (Stacie); her daughter, Julie A. Prusock (George, Jr.); six grandchildren, Hannah, Owen, George III, Theodore, Vincent, and Jackson; her brother, Kenneth Parks (Krissie); and several nieces and nephews.  There will be no public visitation.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main St., Greensburg, 15601.  Please go directly to the church.  Private inurnment in Sacred Heart Cemetery.  LEO M.
