Joseph Coleman

Joseph L. Coleman, age 79, passed away, peacefully, on Monday, August 11, 2025 at home, after battling a short illness. Joseph retired after 38 years from Axel-Noble, (formally Hanna Paint), where he drove a forklift. He served three years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he stayed stateside at Fort Richardson, Alaska. Preceded in death by, parents, Harold and Mary Coleman, wife, Martha Coleman, brother, Timothy Coleman. Survived by, children, Monica (Tony) Jackson, Nadine (Djonny) Coleman-Renous and Troy Coleman, siblings, Nick (Peggy) Coleman, Mary Coleman and Nancy Coleman, grandchildren, Jordan Coleman, Shade' Coleman, Alex Coleman and Mariah (Dontae) Jackson, several nieces and nephews. Friend may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Monday, August 18, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where service will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
