Jordan Wood

Jordan Tyler Wood, age 34, passed away, unexpectedly, Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Doctor's Hospital West. Jordan Tyler Wood was born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1991 to Odell and Debra Wood and was the baby boy of the family. After graduating from high school, Jordan worked for The Ohio State University for several years. He recently began a promising career with Waterford Towers, excelling in his position and being recognized by management for his positive personality, willingness to help in any situation, and for bringing brightness to the residents’ lives. 

Jordan was known for his love of video games, great food, and, especially, his love for his family.

Jordan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Odell and Leola; his brother, Aaron; and his sister, Desireé (Boo). Jordan is survived by his mother, Debra; father, Odell III; brothers, Marcos (Shelby) and Odell IV (Lubby); Aunt Anita; Uncle John (Jaynie) Holt; cousin Terri Parks; nieces and nephews Brandon, Tiyon, Linda, Kieara, Jerrica, Leviticus, Odell V, Xavier, and Jaelynn; his beloved furbaby "Stank Wood", and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. He is also survived by his uncles-in-love, Vincent Fouse, Walter Banks, and Steven Johnson, his aunt-in-love, Terri Taylor, and his sisters-in-love, Samantha Earthman and Chaunté Oden.

Jordan will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, loving heart, and the way he cared for others. We will always imagine hearing him say, “Do you need anything?” one more time. We couldn’t have asked for a better son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, or friend, and we will miss him every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Jordan, your life was a blessing; your memory, a treasure.

There will be a gathering of friends at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Wednesday, December 31, 2025 from 11-1 PM where memorial service will follow at 1 PM.
