Johnny "JJ" Carmody

Johnny "JJ" Carmody, age 53, passed way February 12, 2025 at Doctors Hospital. JJ loved riding his motorcycle, canoeing, bonfires and the outdoors as well as just hanging out with friends and listening to music. Preceded in death by parents: Julia "Judy" Hale and Thomas "Tom" Carmody; wife, Patty Carmody; son, Jesse Carmody; grandparents: Johnny and Melba Phillips. Survived by: children: Tamara (Joseph) Dean and Nicholas (Angela) Carmody; girlfriend, Denise Exline; sister, Elaine (Larry) Mattox; nieces: Courtney (Ricky) Kelly and Julia Mattox; nephew: Larry "Bubba" (Brittnay) Mattox and five grandchildren.

There will be a gathering of friends and family Thursday, February 20 from 4-6pm at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 West Broad St., where memorial service will follow at 6pm.
