John Henry

John J. Henry, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Monterey Care Center. A devout Christian, John attended Pleasant View Baptist Church. He, along with his wife, were dedicated and devoted to their children and grandchildren. He was very passionate about spending time with them for every special event in their lives. If you were one of the people blessed to come across his path on any given day, you would receive a nice hello with his great big smile, but he always greeted everyone with "Praise the Lord", demonstrating his positive outlook on life! He was also a sports fanatic, especially for his Ohio State Buckeyes and New York Yankees. Preceded in death by, wife, Rose Henry, son, Jason Henry. Survived by, children, Rose (Lane) Gray, Timothy (Melissa) Henry, Rachel (Jonathan) Allen and Joshua (Melisa) Henry, grandchildren, Kristen, Bill, Sarah, Shane, Chase, Charleigh, Kaitlyn, Jake, Alexus and Joshua, great grandchildren, Coven, Knox, Colbie Rae, Jaxson, Jayse, Carlos and Heaven, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 2525 Gantz Rd., Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 4-7 PM where service will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
