John L. Burgett, age 78, of Orient passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Mount Carmel Medical Center. Survived by sons: Travis Burgett, Danny Burgett; daughters: Bernie (Tony) Hernandez; Robin Burgett; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters: Rebecca Hoobler and Patsy O'Hara. Friends may call Friday, December 14 from 4-7pm at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 West Broad St. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution towards the funeral expenses.
