Jerry Peer

Jerry Eugene Peer, age 83, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Jerry retired from AirNet Systems and was the owner/operator of Flight Controls. Longtime member of Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. He was also a member of The Shamrock Club and Moose Lodge #11. Veteran US Army. Former president of the Saint Mary Magdalene and Bishop Ready High School athletic booster clubs. Preceded in death by, his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara, parents, Wilson and Chloris Peer, grandson, John Gall. Survived by, children, Joyce (Rob) Albright, Jerry Jr (Jessica) Peer, grandchildren, Brooke (Ethan) Bernhard, Meghan (Ethan) Frank, Ryan Auer, Sean Auer, Emma Albright, Liam Peer, Alexandria Peer and Dylan Hester, great granddaughter, Adeline Frank, sister, Joyce (Joe) Ditrick, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass, 12:30 PM Friday, at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, 6440 S High Street with interment to follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
