James A. Allen Jr.

James A. Allen Jr., age 91, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Grant Medical Center. Retired Tool and Dye Operator. He was a proud veteran of The United States Navy, serving in the Korean War. Member American Legion. James loved to play euchre, corn hole, horseshoes and also very much enjoyed playing the lottery, scratch offs and going to the casino. Preceded in death by, wife, Shirley Allen, daughter, Monica Allen, parents, James A Allen Sr. and Myrtle Carpenter, grandchildren, Mandy Reyna and Destiny Allen, sisters, Alva Stotler, Pearl Wogan and Gladys Bush. Survived by, children, Lana Wiles, Mark Allen, Nick Allen, Anthony Allen and Ashley Collins, grandchildren that he raised, Jessica Allen, Kristina Reyna and Erica Bell, numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 4-7 PM where service will follow at 7 PM.  Services will be held Friday, December 5, 2025, 12 Noon, at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Avenue.
