James Wright

James Richard Wright, age 61, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Ohio State University Hospital. He spent the majority of his professional life in the construction and maintenance business. James loved elephants, collecting over 300 keepsakes of everything he could possibly find. He will be missed. Preceded in death by, parents, Robert and Marie Wright, granddaughter, Delia Young, niece, Evie, sisters, Robert and Jackie. Survived by, wife, Jessica, children, Cheyenne (Michael) Hubbard, Dakota Wright and Robert (Michelle) Young, grandchildren, Izzy, Willow, Lilly, Jaymes, Jaykob, Delilah, Alejandro and Logan, sisters, Cindy Sowers and Lori Wright, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 12-2 PM where service will follow at 2 PM Saturday.
