James Owens

James Owens, 88, passed away on January 16, 2026 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. He enlisted in the National Guard right out of of high school and then served in the Army during Vietnam, stationed in Germany. Jim worked for Westinghouse, Dandee and Watkins before retiring to work along side his wife Linda at Cabinetworks Kitchens.  If Jim wasn’t out shopping with his wife or watching his grandkids sporting events, you could find him outside tinkering with his lawn decorations, specifically blow-ups during any and all Holidays. Jim will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by, parents, Joseph and Vernetta, brothers, Richard, David and Frank, sister, Judith. Survived by, spouse, Linda, children, Joy (Bryan) and Chris (Amanda), grandchildren, Jason (Autumn), Dillon (Janet), Meredith and Macon, great granddaughters,  Prudence and Vesta, brother, George, sisters, Jeanette and Sherry.  Arrangements have been completed with JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD,  5471 Frazell Rd., Hilliard, Ohio, 43026.
