James Aiken

James M. Aiken, age 89, passed away peacefully at his Hillsboro, Ohio residence June 6, 2025. He worked many years driving a dump truck for Trinkle Trucking, he hauled blacktop and gravel. James then worked for Anderson Concrete Co., until he retired disability. He enjoyed working with his hands on small woodprojects and large concrete jobs. James was a good son, brother, husband, father and all around good guy to all he met. Preceded in death by: father, James H. Aiken; mother  Elizabeth M. Winkleman: brother: Robert H. Aiken; wife: Anna May Aiken; sons, James A. Aiken and Robert W. Aiken. Survived by: son, William H. (Dorothy) Aiken; daughter: Elizabeth M. (Dan) Sherman; son: Roger L. Aiken; sister in Law: Linda Aiken; 12 grandkids; many great grandkids and several great great grandkids.

Friends may call Thursday, June 12 from 4--6pm at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 West Broad St, Columbus, OH 43204, where service will follow at 6pm.
