George M Griffith

George M. Griffith, age 72, passed away April 2, 2025 at Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital. He loved God and family, his kitty cats, Miller’s beer, Johnny Cash, fishing, flea markets, collecting zippo lighters, watching movies and shows with the family, summer trips to Kentucky and Hocking Hills, never got lost and always knew which road to take. George wasn’t scared of anything but flying, he was the bravest, strongest man we ever knew.

Preceded in death by his father Sherman, mother Hazel, brothers Jack and Roger, stepsiblings Tiny, Brenda, Eloise, Ken and Paul, Martha and various others. He leaves behind his wife, Marilyn, daughter, Tabitha and son in law Thern; daughter, Michelle and son, George Jr.; nephews: Clifford, Gene and Dale and many other cousins, nephews and nieces.

Friends may call Wednesday, April 9 from 11am-1pm at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 West Broad St., where service will follow at 1pm. Interment Galloway Cemetery.
