Gene Autry Saunders

Gene Autry Saunders, ager 67, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away July 10, 2026. Gene was a tow truck driver for over 40 years. He LOVED to build race cars, he loved working on his truck, & building model cars! He was outgoing, funny as ever. He knew how to make everyone laugh, or be confused with his crazy stories all the time! He loved to teach anyone who wanted to be taught on how to work on cars!

Preceded in death by mother, Martha Williams-Saunders and father, James Saunders Jr.

Survived by wife, Patricia Saunders; children:Antwan Fisher, Angel Saunders, Ken Saunders, Lana Saunders, Colton Saunders (Samantha Saunders), Zenia Coleman (Derek Coleman), Glenda Saunders; grandchildren: Danielle Coleman, Zeke Coleman, Bella Coleman, Ava Neter, Justyce Fisher-Saunders, Yazmin Fisher, A'yana Fisher, Kennedy Fisher; friends: Buggy, Jimmy. James, John, Johnny, Kim, & many many more!
