Fanny Lou Lewis was born to Christopher and Pearlie Lewis on the 22nd day of August, 1945 in Virgie, Kentucky. Fanny left this earth to rest eternally in heaven, the morning of March 13th, 2025.
Fanny attended Sheridan high School in Thornville, Ohio where she graduated in 1965 and shortly after, moved to Columbus, Ohio where she lived out the remainder of her life.
Fanny made a career holding several different positions at Western Electric, where she retired in 2001 after working for 36 years.
Fanny had a love and passion for gardening, cooking, baking and crafting, but most important was spending time with family and friends. Although Fanny never had children, her many nieces, nephews and generations after were treated by her as if they were her own. Several of them are left to mourn her passing along with her sister, best friend and caregiver, Mona Thomas.
Greeting her in heaven are the loved ones who left before her, but no longer have to miss her…her mother and father, Chris and Pearlie; brothers, Dale, Joe, Charles and Carl Douglas and sisters, Dorothy, Jewell, Rita and Faye. They are reunited at last.
Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 11-1 PM where service will follow at 1 PM. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
