Evelyn Wasem

Evelyn L. Wasem, age 92, a loving and giving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Kobacker House. Evelyn, in 1963, along with her husband Donald, help to start Wasem Packaging and Crating Services, that still is in operation today. She was a longtime member of Westview Alliance Church and currently was attending The Potter's House Church of God. Evelyn taught Sunday School for over 50 years. She will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by, husband, Donald, brother, Leroy Gwilym, sister. Pat Poole, parents, William and Luella Gwilym. Survived by, children, Tencie Clarke, Steven Wasem, Timothy Wasem and Jeffrey (Rebecca) Wasem, grandchildren, Andrea, Angela, Christina, David, Scott, Shawn, Kimberly, Gabriel, Anthony, Crystal, Matthew and Samuel, brother, Donald Gwilym, sister, Diana Abdon, numerous great grandchildren, other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd., Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 5-7 PM with service to follow at 7 PM. Pastor Bobby Smith officiating. Graveside service and interment, 2:30 PM Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Sunset Cemetery.
