Erma Gorenflo

Erma Lee Gorenflo, age 95, passed away quietly at her home on Thursday April 10,2025. Born and raised in Millen, Georgia she married William (Bill) in 1951, and they moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1952. Erma was a lifelong Christian, a devoted wife and home maker for 72 years, and a deeply caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Erma was also an excellent seamstress specializing in custom draperies and window treatments, with some of her work featured around Columbus at the Parade of Homes, the Christopher Inn and numerous other homes and buildings during the 60s and 70s. She enjoyed needlepoint, cross stitching, playing games with family and watching old black and white movies. Erma was preceded in death by her husband, William Gorenflo; brothers, Roy, Cyril, and Eldred and Survived by; children, Richard (Stephanie) Gorenflo, Ronald (Grace) Gorenflo, Karen (Keith) Holobaugh; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home 2693 W. Broad St., Columbus OH on Tuesday April 15 from 5-7 PM. Graveside service and interment will be on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M at Alton Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio
