Eric Michael Sturgis February 17, 1982 – December 8, 2025.
With profound sadness and unwavering faith, we celebrate the Heavenly homegoing of Eric Sturgis, who entered the presence of Jesus on December 8, 2025, at 2:40 PM, peacefully in the arms of his wife, Nikki. Born on February 17, 1982, Eric lived with joy, purpose, and a love for God that touched everyone he encountered. He cherished his church community, often encouraging others through prayer, kindness, and his bold, unapologetic faith. Eric was the devoted husband of Nikki, and the proud father of Lily, Landon, and Laila. Being a loving husband, father, and provider was his greatest honor. His loyal dog, You-You, was never far from his side. For nearly 20 years, Eric worked at Honda North America as a new model engineer, where his laugh, smile, and energy lit up every room. He showed up for people — always willing to help, always making others feel valued. Eric loved the Bengals, the Buckeyes, trying new things, and creating memories with his family. One of his favorite traditions each year was donating gift cards to foster teens — a cause close to his heart and a reflection of his generosity and compassion in hopes of providing children the stability he wished for as a child. Above all, Eric lived as a man of God, loving people deeply and giving without hesitation. Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice knowing he is now whole, healed, and dancing in Heaven with Jesus. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the One Church Expansion Project, Next Is Now, in honor of Eric’s passion for helping others find Christ. May we honor Eric by living and loving like he did — boldly, generously, and unashamed of our love for Jesus Christ. Share your faith, love people well, and bring others to know our God.
